Your Road Shouldn’t Rattle Your Teeth

Every Montana gravel road eventually develops the same complaints: washboard that shakes the truck, potholes that collect spring water, soft spots that swallow tires, and washouts where drainage lost the argument. We fix all of it — properly, so the fix lasts.

Serving Paradise Valley — Emigrant, Livingston, Gardiner — plus Bozeman and the surrounding areas.

What We Repair

  • Washboard roads — regraded to depth and recompacted, not just bladed smooth for a month
  • Potholes and cracks — patched and repaired to stop water intrusion before it spreads
  • Rotted and soft sections — excavated, rebuilt with proper base, and compacted
  • Washouts and drainage failures — crowns restored, ditches cut, culverts installed or cleared
  • Gravel and dirt roads — grading, fresh surfacing, compaction, and dust and erosion control

Fix the Water, Fix the Road

Nearly every road problem is a water problem wearing a disguise. That’s why our repairs start with drainage: where water lands, where it should go, and what’s stopping it. A repair that ignores the water is a subscription, not a solution — we’d rather fix your road once.

From Patch to Rebuild

Sometimes a section needs more than repair. As a full road construction contractor with our own excavation equipment, we can rebuild failed sections to new-road standards — or pave high-traffic stretches with asphalt. You’ll get an honest read on which sections need what. Free estimates.

Good to Know

Road Repair — Questions We Hear a Lot

What causes washboard roads, and can you actually fix them?

Washboarding comes from traffic and loose surface material — and blading alone brings it right back. A real fix regrades to depth, restores fines and moisture balance, and compacts properly. That's what we do.

Can you fix drainage problems and washouts?

Yes — drainage is usually the root cause of a failing road. We regrade crowns, cut ditches, and install or clear culverts so water leaves the road instead of dissolving it.

How often should a gravel road be maintained?

It depends on traffic and weather, but a well-built road needs far less than a poorly built one. We can repair what you have, or rebuild problem sections so you're not paying for the same fix every year.
